A força de preensão manual é apenas uma necessidade das modalidades esportivas de combate? uma revisão narrativa

Resumo

A força de preensão manual é definida como a força muscular gerada pelas mãos. Ela tem sido muito investigada na literatura científica, sendo importante para saúde e determinante para o desempenho esportivo e sucesso competitivo nas modalidades de combate. A presente revisão narrativa teve como foco explorar e descrever a importância da força de pressão manual para os esportes de combate e compreender a necessidade para o desempenho esportivo. Trata-se de um estudo de revisão narrativa da literatura. As bases de dados utilizadas foram Scielo, Google acadêmico, Pubmed e Web of Science. Foram encontrados 2.722 artigos. Sendo que 176 artigos duplicatas. Do total de artigos encontrados, 1.909 foram excluídos por não analisarem a variável de foco do estudo. Destes 609 foram selecionados por estarem dentro do critério de inclusão. Ao final, 28 estudos foram incluídos e utilizados para a formulação do estudo. Os resultados mostraram que a força de preensão manual é essencial para maioria das modalidades de combate e determinante para os esportes de combate que utilizam agarres, imobilizações e arremessos. Além disso, outras categorias de esportes como de quadra, de campo, de aventura e aquáticos também necessitam de grandes níveis de força nas mãos e nos dedos para obter o sucesso nas competições.  Nesse sentido, conclui-se que a força de preensão manual não é apenas uma necessidade das modalidades de combates, sendo imprescindível para todas as modalidades esportivas investigadas neste estudo.
