Comparison electromyographic analysis of the brachial biceps and lats in front handle exercises and low stroke
Abstract
Electromyography may be used to show information related to muscle activation state, activation is measured by electrical activity of excitable membranes. The aim of the study was to analyze the electromyographic activity of biceps brachial and latissimus dorsi exercises in front handle and stroke low. The sample of the study 10 men practicing bodybuilding for at least six months and no history of injuries and / or conditions that could compromise the exercises evaluated in the research. We used the ANOVA two away to determine differences between the RMS values of each muscle and in each exercise. The results showed that the biceps brachial showed higher electromyographic activity in low rowing exercise (235,59µV) compared through ANOVA 2x2 two away, these results revealed significant differences between years (p = 0.048). Regarding the dorsi muscle of the back found a greater electromyographic activity in the frontal handle exercise (147,45µV) compared to low rowing exercise (90,53µV), these results revealed significant differences between years (p = 0.035). From these results we can conclude that both muscles showed significant differences when comparing the years covered in the study.
