The acute effects of cardiorespiratory exercise before and after resistance exercise in the double product in hypertensive individuals
Abstract
Therefore the present study aims to investigate the acute effects of cardiorespiratory exercise before and after resistive exercise in the double product in hypertensive individuals. Upon arrival at the site, the hypertensive patient remained seated for 5 minutes and his blood pressure was checked (pre). At the end of the check they performed aerobic activities at an intensity of 60% FCRES and resisted exercises where the blood pressure was checked again (post) and monitored up to 20 minutes (20 min) after exercise, with intervals of 5 minutes between each check. The order of the exercise was reversed, that is, on the first day, individual A performed first aerobic exercise and then bodybuilding, while individual B performed bodybuilding and then aerobic exercise. On the second day it was reversed. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. The results of individual A were, when the cardiopulmonary exercise was performed first the pre-DP was 12006 mmHg.bpm and after 20 min at rest the DP was 11680 mmHg.bpm, on the first day the bodybuilding exercise was performed Pre-DP was 11696 mmHg.bpm, and the post 20 min rest was 10800 mmHg.bpm. In the B individual when the cardiorespiratory exercise was performed, the pre-DP was 10332 mmHg.bpm, after exercise in the 20 min rest it became 10384 mmHg.bpm. And on the day that the resisted exercise preceded the cardiorespiratory, the pre-DP was 9900 mmHg.bpm and after exercise in the 20 min at rest returned to 9984 mmHg.bpm. When analyzing the acute effects of cardiorespiratory exercise before and after resistance exercise In the double product, it is concluded that when the resisted exercise is performed for the first time there was a greater decrease in the final DP.
