Abstract

This paper aims to observe the behavior of the heart rate, rating of perceived exertion and energy expenditure over a circuit with weights, your answers and possible ventures. To measure the variables of heart rate, subjective perception of effort, and the calorie expenditure of a type of circuit with weights for the training of physical education can use it as a strategy for training, and their possible use in programs of weight loss. Methods: The study was conducted with 10 women involved in activities at the academy over a year with regular attendance, and was subjected to indirect test of maximum effort for aerobic power in treadmill test, predicted maximum force, and evaluated in their body composition through the protocol of skin fold. Results: With the results estimate the energy expenditure, heart rate and behavior together with rating of perceived exertion, which are tools for easy access to physical education professionals, and corroborated with other studies regarding the strategy for individuals with goals of weight loss. Conclusion: We conclude that the methods selected were easy to use and show to be efficient application of this method of training, and was in possession of these data to estimate the energy expenditure involved in the circuit and when related to time spent in their execution was an effective strategy for programs of weight loss.
