Parameters of physical inclusion of the educator in the family health program (PSF) for work in the prevention and treatment of hypertensive patients
Abstract
Introduction: This study discusses the inclusion of Physical Educator of the Family Health Program. Objective: This study aimed to demonstrate the importance of including training of Physical Education in the Family Health Program, working in the adoption and introduction of the exercise in lifestyle more active population as a means of preventing and dealing with some chronic diseases -Degenerative diseases such as hypertension. Materials and Methods: The study was characterized as type descriptive. The sample consisted of 87 subjects, 63 females and 24 males, individuals with hypertension, registered in three units of the Family Health Program in a town in the backwoods of New Hampshire high-MO. We performed an interview with questions addressing the disease, health habits and physical activity. Descriptive statistics was used in data processing. Results and Discussion: The only physical activity was carried out to walk, where 35 of hypertensive practice, with 25 women and 10 men. It expressed that the population has begun to incorporate the practice of physical exercise as a means of improving health, although the sample 57 are not athletes and none of the subjects have the guidance of a professional of Physical Education. Conclusion: Thus the study shows the importance of the work of Physical Education to be integrated multidisciplinary team of the Family Health working in prevention and treatment of hypertension.
