Materials and Methods: The sample consisted of 125 subjects, 62 women and 63 men living in the city of Campo Grande -MS working in the Regional Electoral Court. Was measured body weight (with scale Tanita 080W Model A, accurate to 100g) and height (stadiometer aid of a model 120A TONELI mark) equalized the values of BMI=weight/height2. Blood pressure was collected using pressure aneroid WANMEDC equipment (stethoscope, 1 head). Results and Discussion: We observed that the classification of women in the eutrophic BMI was 64.52% and worrying levels of obesity in 11.29% (obesity class I, II and III). We men of these indices were 30.16% and 30.16% respectively. Conclusion: Our results showed thatwomen tend to be more healthy than men and despite all the considerations made, we find that there was a correlation between the analyzed indices (BMI and BP).
