Analysis of agreement and reproducibility of tests for lower limb muscle power evaluation in counter-movement jump
Abstract
The study involved forty healthy participants, equally divided between men and women, to assess the reproducibility and agreement between counter-movement jump (CMJ) tests using vertical jump test (VJT) and contact mat (CM). Men demonstrated high reproducibility in both tests, while in women, reproducibility was moderate in VJT. The agreement analysis revealed significant discrepancies in CMJ measurements among women, with VJT showing higher values. In men, there was agreement. In summary, VJT and CM are reproducible, especially in men, but discrepancies can occur, particularly in women.
