Comparison only enters the effect of the use of electrostimulation neuromuscular associate to the training of force with only force training in exercise of inferior members during eight weeks
Abstract
Amongst the most different forms of porting training it is the electrostimulation (EENM), that since century XVIII it comes being used of therapeutically form, being enormously accepted and related in the scope of the whitewashing. In virtue of man’s incessant search for the improvement in the performance, health and aesthetic, in this study we search to evaluate if the method of EENM associated with the strength training during 8 weeks is more beneficial in the levels of maximum force of what only the strength training. For the present study they had participated 2 groups of healthful individuals of the masculine sex. A group carried through the strength training associated with the EENM and the other only the strength force training. Only two strength exercises had been used, the Leg Press and the Leg Extension. A training of 8 (eight) weeks was considered, carried through evaluation of the maximum strength and the corporal composition. It was shown that the association of the electrostimulation to the strength training in a period of 8 weeks is more efficient for the increase in the levels of maximum force in the inferior members of what the isolated strength training.
