Psychological factors that affect the competitive performance of high-level judo athletes
Abstract
Psychology of Sport is very important in the sport of high competitive level, assisting in the acquisition of several positive results. Nowadays it is very important follow-up of a skilled professional to provide the necessary support to athletes. Thus, the purpose of present study was analyze the main psychological reactions of high level judokas with competition. A questionnaire was applied to high-level competitive athletes in order to know the most diverse psychological reactions before and during competitions. According to the results, athletes participants showed a stress derived from the competition, so that they are devolved to compete. It is concluded that the work done by a multidisciplinary team is important not only for training but also in the competitive period. This way the athlete can be analyzed satisfactorily for their training are prepared individually, respecting the different responses of athletes compared to stimuli that are applied to them.
