Evaluation of carrying athletes mesatenistas of physical deficiency in preparation to the Parapanamericano in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2007
Abstract
The aim of this article was to keep up with and to verify the physical preparation through the physical values made in anthropometric ambit, physiologic, and coordination from the Brazilians team of table tennis players with physical disability, in Cutitiba city, Paraná state, aiming the Pan-American Games that it will happen in the Rio de Janeiro city in 2007 August. Six athletes took part of the assessment: 4 male parathletes and 2 female framed with functional classification 05, 50% and in the classes 02, 03 e 10, 16.66%. In front of the obtained results through the manual strength, the male parathletes on the dominant right hand in 100% of the players, reported equal index even in the repose and after 30 minutes training. On the other hand on the left hand reported loss of strength through manual strength, motivated by the intuit of avoid downfalls, and executing fast displacement, proportioning like that a reduction in the point dispute, or, in other hands, less rally . The female parathletes in the right dominant hand showed 100% loss of strength of manual pressure and in the left maintained the same stabilization after 30 minutes of training, motivated, mainly, by the high numbers of the rallies, points dispute. The results after being studied will suit as a parameter in the aim of to guide the table tennis players faced with future lesion caution, during training or in the competition it selves.
