Heart frequency obtained through Carminatti test and Yo-Yo intermittent recovery test
Abstract
During the physical exercise many complex changes happen in the biological process, bringing on important physiological improves. Thus, the research development in the sporting environment has been offered, each day plus, scientific supportto the total evolution in this scope. Therefore, the mensuration and evaluations becomeimportant to understand the mechanisms involved in suchprocess. This study had the intention to evaluate the cardiac frequency inresponse to intermittent progressivetests, T-car and Yo-Yo IRT1, through the determination of the variables associated with the deflection point of the cardiac frequency throughout the variables determination associated to the deflection point at the cardiac frequency. Took part of this study 13 male young students of Vale do Sapucaí University Physical Education course. The students’ average age was 22,30±3,0. At the data collection first step, the body composition (height, weight and fat percentage) was verified. At the second step, the Yo-Yo IRT1 test was performed and then the Tcar test. The statistical pack BioEstat 5.0 –Anova One Way -was used for statistical analysis, considering p≤0,05. The results imply statistically significant difference both to the velocity threshold and to the cardiac frequency threshold. The scientific support mentioned in the work indicates that many are the factors that need to be considered to estimate the anaerobic threshold during the Yo-Yo IRT1 and Tcar tests. However, the usage of alternative methodologies has been shown itself as a proper way to supply the direct analysis impossibility. It is concluded that the anaerobic threshold can be estimated based on the cardiac velocity and frequency threshold. However, the variables should not be compared to the Tcar and Yo-Yo IRT1 tests. The test methodologies can be similar, but the answers will be different.
