Glycemic control through resistive exercises in carrier of type I diabetes
Abstract
Theme of several studies, the DM is a metabolic disorder chronic-degenerative etiology of multiple associated with missing or deficient hormone action of insulin produced by the pancreas. It is characterized by high and sustained hyperglycemia. Focus of this study, type I diabetes typically occurs in younger individuals, and genetic factors that predispose to this failure immunological, as well as environmental factors may play important role in the etiology of the disease in individuals with such a predisposition. For this persons there is a necessity of administration of insulin daily combined with adequate alimentation and a regular physical activity. This study aims to verify through the practice of regular exercises of power, the framework glycemic and daily doses of insulin from the patient in question. Although the first hypothesis suggested not been confirmed, can be demonstrated in this study that the practices of resistive exercises had positive effect on the body composition of the patient bearer of DM I.
