Analysis electromyographic muscle chest and largest lats pulled in years ahead, pull behind and pulled supinated
Abstract
Electromyography (EMG) is used to highlight information relating to the state of activation of the muscles, activation is measured by electrical activity of excitable membranes. The aim of the study was to evaluate the electromyographic activity of the pectoralis major and latissimus dorsi on the lat pulldown exercises, drawn back and pulled supine. The study included 10 male subjects aged greater than or equal to 18 bodybuilders for at least six months. The test statistical model ANOVA was used to determine the existence of differences between the RMS values of the muscles in the exercises. The findings by conducting the study showed that significant differences in muscle activation was found only when compared with the pectoralis major latissimus dorsi pulled in front of exercises and pulled back. In the other comparisons no significant differences were found.
