Hipotensión después del ejercicio de fuerza: comparación entre hombres y mujeres

Resumen

El objetivo del presente estudio fue verificar y comparar el efecto hipotensor entre hombres y mujeres después de un protocolo de ejercicio de fuerza. Se seleccionaron 14 voluntarios (7 hombres y 7 mujeres) sometidos al test de carga máxima (1RM), y luego de obtener las cargas, los sujetos realizaron los ejercicios de press de banca horizontal y extensión de piernas, con una carga del 70% de 1RM, hasta el agotamiento en tres sets. Para determinar las diferencias se utilizó el análisis de varianza para medidas repetidas con un factor de dos vías y la prueba post hoc de Tukey para localizar posibles diferencias. No se encontraron diferencias significativas al comparar géneros. Concluimos que el efecto hipotensor después del ejercicio de fuerza no difiere entre géneros.
