Cambios agudos inducidos por un evento largo de triatlón en diferentes biomarcadores de función enzimática e inmune

Resumen

Objetivo: Analizar las alteraciones hematológicas agudas inducidas por un evento de triatlón largo. Se evaluó el comportamiento de varios biomarcadores de función enzimática e inmunológica en triatletas masculinos portugueses. Material y Métodos: 10 deportistas sénior masculinos (31,5 ± 1,2 años; 69,3 ± 1,9 kg; 177,7 ± 1,4 cm; IMC 22,0 ± 0,8 y GC 10,1 ± 2,2 %) divididos en grupos élite y no élite. Se recogieron muestras de sangre venosa periférica antes e inmediatamente después de las pruebas. Se utilizó estadística descriptiva, pruebas no paramétricas de Wilcoxone Mann-Whitney y coeficiente de correlación de Spearman. Resultados: Hubo un aumento en la actividad de las enzimas CK y AST (p<0,05) en ambos grupos. El aumento de la actividad de la enzima GGT (p<0,05) ocurrió solo en el grupo élite. Se observó un aumento en el recuento de leucocitos en ambos grupos, expresado fundamentalmente por el aumento en el recuento de neutrófilos (p<0,05). Después de la carrera, hubo una disminución en la relación CD4/CD8 y un aumento en las concentraciones de linfocitos T CD3+CD8+, T CD4+reg y T CD4+CD69+ en los atletas de los grupos de no élite. Conclusión: Los resultados encontrados sugieren que la intensidad y duración de la prueba de triatlón condicionan las respuestas de los distintos biomarcadores analizados en función del nivel de entrenamiento de los atletas.
