Associazione tra variabilità della frequenza cardiaca e stress ossidativo: il ruolo dell'esercizio
Abstract
La genesi di diverse malattie cardiovascolari è stata associata a un ridotto controllo cardiovascolare e squilibrio redox. La variabilità della frequenza cardiaca (HRV) ha dimostrato di essere efficiente nell'identificare i cambiamenti nella funzione neurocardiaca eventualmente causati dallo stress ossidativo (EO). Pochi interventi isolati sono in grado di promuovere contemporaneamente cambiamenti nella funzione neurocardiaca e nell'equilibrio redox, un esempio è l'esercizio fisico. Pertanto, il presente studio si propone di verificare, allo stato attuale dell'arte, le relazioni esistenti tra funzione neurocardiaca e bilancio redox, oltre a verificare nella letteratura contemporanea, indicazioni circa il ruolo dell'esercizio fisico nell'equilibrio redox e nella funzione autonomica. È ragionevole dedurre che esiste un rapporto inversamente proporzionale tra HRV ed EO. Pertanto, l'HRV può essere un metodo prognostico non invasivo per la OS.Riferimenti bibliografici
