Cambiamenti acuti indotti da un lungo evento di triathlon in diversi biomarcatori della funzione enzimatica e immunitaria

Abstract

Obiettivo: Analizzare le alterazioni ematologiche acute indotte da una lunga gara di triathlon. È stato valutato il comportamento di diversi biomarcatori enzimatici e della funzione immunitaria negli atleti di triathlon maschi portoghesi. Materiali e metodi: 10 atleti senior maschi (31,5 ± 1,2 anni; 69,3 ± 1,9 kg; 177,7 ± 1,4 cm; BMI 22,0 ± 0,8 e 10,1 ± 2,2% GC) divisi in gruppi elite e non elite. I campioni di sangue venoso periferico sono stati raccolti prima e immediatamente dopo i test. Sono state utilizzate statistiche descrittive, test non parametrici di Wilcoxone Mann-Whitney e coefficiente di correlazione di Spearman. Risultati: C'è stato un aumento dell'attività degli enzimi CK e AST (p<0,05) in entrambi i gruppi. L'aumento dell'attività enzimatica GGT (p<0,05) si è verificato solo nel gruppo elite. In entrambi i gruppi è stato osservato un aumento della conta dei leucociti, espresso fondamentalmente dall'aumento della conta dei neutrofili (p<0,05). Dopo la gara si è registrata una diminuzione del rapporto CD4/CD8 e un aumento delle concentrazioni dei linfociti T CD3+CD8+, T CD4+reg e T CD4+CD69+ negli atleti dei gruppi non elitari. Conclusione: I risultati trovati suggeriscono che l'intensità e la durata del test di triathlon condizionano le risposte dei vari biomarcatori analizzati in funzione del livello di allenamento degli atleti.
